Project description
In this Cheese plant a new whey processing plant is built. In this new whey factory, the whey originating from cheese production is able to be treated with such a high quality standard, that it meets the latest requirements for child nutrition.
Lascon started with the complete mechanical installation in the new empty space. This began with the intelligent placement of (minimal) frames on which the piping could be placed in such a manner that the pipes were as much combined as possible. Furthermore the work included the connection of tanks, heat exchangers, centrifuges, homogenizers and a sterilizer. This sterilizer is assembled by Lascon in the workshop in Heerenveen in a frame with insulation. The heat exchangers in this assembly were supplied and the holding tubes were manufactured by Lascon itself.
Project: New whey plant
Client: Dairy Company
Location: Netherlands
The connection between the existing and the new plant has been made out of two pipe bridges. Various adaptations at different points had to be made in the existing plant. The conversion planned for this were carried out according to pre-established plans so that the inconvenience to the producing plant were limited as much as possible.
The project is now completed and meanwhile evaluated by the customer. Lascon was overall reviewed upon with “excellent”. Conversely Lascon praises the customer, because during the project working with them was extremely enjoyable, constructive and thus could also be done safely.
