The existing CIP plant at the dairy was so outdated that he no longer fulfilled the current requirements. Our customer has requested Lascon to provide a part of the complete mechanical engineering and assembly of the plant. The basic engineering of the new CIP plant had already been done by the customer, the detail engineering is done together by the customer and Lascon. It was found that the experience of Lascon in the construction of various CIP plants had gained in the recent years came in handy.

The room in which the new CIP installation was placed was very tight. Therefore Lascon has put the installation in detail in 3-D previously.. In order to enable the placement a part of the plant is placed on a platform. The instrumentation in the return pipes is positioned outside the space CIP. The valves in the steam are positioned on the roof. A special cover was placed to protect the equipment against the weather. In this way the most optimal situation was created.
The new installation is, during the short conversion times, connected to the existing pipelines. This allows that the actual conversion from the old to the new CIP plant could be realized in a short period of time. Important nodes of the piping been set in 3-D also. The piping is welded orbital.
The project was extremely pleasant and peaceful and the result is a beautiful new CIP plant.
