In recent years, Lascon has built several new CIP installations. Also at this dairy company there was a need for a CIP installation that meets the latest design standards. In addition, there were also objects in the factory that were cleaned with a flow that was too low.

The process engineering for this CIP installation was done by the customer himself. The 3D engineering was also already prepared by the customer, Lascon did the detail engineering. The experience that Lascon has in the design and construction of CIP installations proved to be very useful.

During the project there was initially an overlap between the civil work and the Lascon part, our experience is that this does not benefit efficiency. The project got off to a difficult start for us. In addition to the CIP set in the new space, an entire pipeline route also had to be laid in the existing factory, in the cheese factory. A brine line was crossed in this route. This was solved by means of a new platform that also serves as a pipeline bridge.

All in all, we can look back on a great project, where the end result, the new CIP installation, can be described as very impressive.
